I’m Sandi Layne and this is lo, another online abode for me. Welcome!
I’ve been writing since I first put pen to paper in December of 1997. My writing career has walked the bridge from the era of “print the best copy on the highest quality paper and box the manuscript for shipping” to watching #PitchWars on Twitter. I was self-publishing before it was “done” and there were naysayers aplenty out there when I started.
These days? All that’s old news!
I started wanting to write Regency Romances! And though I’ve written one or two, they haven’t seen publication, yet. Instead, I’ve written historical fiction, contemporary Christian romances and contemporary Sweet & Clean romances.
On this site, I hope to share these titles with you, as well as some others, including history-based short fiction that isn’t really romantic at all.
My mind, you see, is a wild place; I’ve been a daydreamer and storyteller all my life, and hope to continue to do so. In support of this, I have my husband of more than twenty-five years, and our two sons, who have always known Mom the Writer and wouldn’t know me any other way!
